 ಮೇಲ್ಕಾಣಿಸಿದ ಜಾಹೀರಾತಿನನ್ವಯ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುವ ಅಭ್ಯಗಳು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಸಾಮಥ್ರ್ಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪತ್ರ (ಊಚಿಟಟ ಛಿಞಜಣ ) ವನ್ನು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ವೆಬ್ಸೈಟ್ www.mybmtc.com ಮೂಲಕ ದಿನಾಂಕ 3/6/2018 ರಿಂದ 9/6/2018ರ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುದ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ದಿನಾಂಕ, ಸಮಯ ಹಾಗೂ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪದೇ ಹಾಜರಾಗುವುದು.

ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಅಂಚೆ ಅಥವಾ ಇತರೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮೂಲಗಳಿಂದ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಭ್ಯಗಳು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ವೆಬ್ಸೈಟ್ www.mybmtc.com ಮೂಲಕವೇ  ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪದೇ ಡೌನ್ಲೋಡ್ ಮಾಡಿ ಮುದ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಸಾಮಥ್ರ್ಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗುವುದು. ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾದ ದಿನಾಂಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗದಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಂತರ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮನವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

      ಅಭ್ಯಗಳು ನಿಗಧಿತ ಶುಲ್ಕವನ್ನು ಪಾವತಿಸಿ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೂ ಅವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಡೌನ್ಲೋಡ್ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಂತಹ ಅಭ್ಯಗಳು ದಿನಾಂಕ 4/6/2018ರ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲ 5.00 ಗಂಟೆಯೊಳಗಾಗಿ ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಮೂಲಕ ತಿಳಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಖುದ್ದಾಗಿ ಬೆಮಸಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಕಛೇರಿಯ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಶಾಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿ ಅವಶ್ಯ ದಾಖಲಾತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥತನವನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು. ನಂತರ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಮನವಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

BMTC with an objective to reduce traffic congestion and air pollution is observing “Less Traffic Day” on second Sunday of every month and the main motto of this campaign is to encourage travelling public to use public transport instead of personalized mode of transport.

First “Less Traffic Day” is observed on 11th of February 2018 and henceforth second Sunday of every month is observed as “Less Traffic Day”.

On this day in order to provide necessary transport facilities to the travelling public additional services will be provided in densely populated areas based on the demand of the public.

Further, on this day to encourage public transport Rs. 70/- daily pass is issued for Rs. 65/- by providing concession of Rs.5/-.

To provide efficient transport facilities and to promote public transport BMTC has taken up many initiatives. Further, to encourage more people to travel in BMTC buses and also to use public transport, BMTC has reduced Vajra and Vayuvajra fares as a 2018 New Year Gift to its commuters. The details are as below:-

 

1.      Vajra Air Conditioned Services fare has been reduced upto 37% on trail basis w.e.f: 01.01.2018.

2.      Vayuvajra Fares of the schedules operated from Mekhri Circle, Hebbala, Esteem Mall, Kogilu Cross, has been reduced w.e.f: 01.01.2018.

3.      Fare of Rs. 100/- is introduced for the commuters travelling from  Hunasamarnahalli to Kempegowda International Airport

4.      Group Discount of 15 % for the commuters travelling in a group of 3 or more in Vayuvajra Services operating on route no: KIAS-8 from Kempegowda International Airport to Electronic city only.

 

As stated in serial no: 1 Vajra fares has been revised w.e.f: 01.01.2018 on trial basis for one month and the stage wise reduction of fares is from 5% to 37%, and average fare reduction is 29%.  This fare revision will be extended for 1 month more i.e., till 28.02.2018.

1.      Group Discount of 15 % for the commuters travelling in group of 3 or more than 3 people in Vayuvajra Services.

2.      This discount is applicable for the commuters who purchase tickets in KIAL        BMTC counter only.

3.      In first phase, this discount is applicable for route no: KIAS-8 operated from Kempegowda International Airport to Electronic city only.

4.      Group Discount will be extended to all Vayuvajra commuters in coming days.

The Checking staff of Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation has intensified checking of buses operated in and around Bangalore City to detect ticketless travelling by the passengers. During the Month of August-2017 they have checked 23065 trips and penalized 7265 ticketless passengers by collecting Rs. 10,89,650/- as penalty and booked  2039  cases against conductor’s for their dereliction of duty.

            During  the  aforesaid  period  the  Checking Staff  have  penalized  365 male passengers  occupying seats exclusively reserved  for  lady  passengers  & imposed  fine  of  Rs. 36,500/-  in accordance  with  KMV  Rules  94  r/w  section 177  of   MV  Act  1988.

           Passengers are advised to purchase tickets / pass and travel - this will not only avoid levy of penalty / embarrassment but will also help BMTC to give better services to all commuters. Please allow the female passengers to occupy  the   seats  exclusively reserved  for  them.

            During  the  aforesaid  period  the  Checking Staff  have  penalized  414 male passengers  occupying seats exclusively reserved  for  lady  passengers  & imposed  fine  of  Rs. 41,400/-  in accordance  with  KMV  Rules  94  r/w  section 177  of   MV  Act  1988.

           Passengers are advised to purchase tickets / pass and travel - this will not only avoid levy of penalty / embarrassment but will also help BMTC to give better services to all commuters. Please allow the female passengers to occupy  the   seats  exclusively reserved  for  them.

            During  the  aforesaid  period  the  Checking Staff  have  penalized  279 male passengers  occupying seats exclusively reserved  for  lady  passengers  & imposed  fine  of  Rs. 27,900/-  in accordance  with  KMV  Rules  94  r/w  section 177  of   MV  Act  1988.

           Passengers are advised to purchase tickets / pass and travel - this will not only avoid levy of penalty / embarrassment but will also help BMTC to give better services to all commuters. Please allow the female passengers to occupy  the   seats  exclusively reserved  for  them.

Sub: Observation of  86th   “Bus Day” on 04.03.2017 reg.

            Providing efficient, reliable, safe and comfortable transport to the citizens of Bangalore city has been the sole motto of BMTC. In addition to this task, BMTC has initiated other important steps aimed at improved mobility and reduction in air pollution in the Metropolis through decongestion of traffic by marginalization of personalized mode of transport by observing Bus Day on 4th of every month since 04.02.2010.

           BMTC has successfully completed 6 years of Bus Day journey and is in the verge of 7th year.  6 years of Bus Day journey has contributed in reducing air pollution, traffic congestion and diesel consumption. Bus Day will be celebrated on 04.03.2017 (Saturday) is the 86th  Bus day celebrated by BMTC.

The Checking staff of Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation has intensified checking of buses operated in and around Bangalore City to detect ticketless travelling by the passengers. During the Month of January-2017 they have checked 21075 trips and penalized 7924 ticketless passengers by collecting Rs. 12,51,800/- as penalty and booked  2432  cases against conductor’s for their dereliction of duty.

            During  the  aforesaid  period  the  Checking Staff  have  penalized  306 male passengers  occupying seats exclusively reserved  for  lady  passengers  & imposed  fine  of  Rs. 30,600/-  in accordance  with  KMV  Rules  94  r/w  section 177  of   MV  Act  1988.

           Passengers are advised to purchase tickets / pass and travel - this will not only avoid levy of penalty / embarrassment but will also help BMTC to give better services to all commuters. Please allow the female passengers to occupy  the  seats  exclusively reserved  for  them.

Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation’s New Modern Bus Terminal foundation stone laying ceremony was done by Sri Siddaramaiah, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka in the presence of Sri.Ramalinga Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Transport on 15-02-2017 at Hosakote.

Sri N.Nagaraj, MTB, Hon’ble MLA, Hosakote constituency and Chairman, Bengaluru International Airport Planning Authority, presided over the function.    Sri H.C.Mahadevappa , Hon’ble Minister for Public Work Department, Sri Krishna Byregowda, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture and Bengaluru Rural District In-charge minister were in the august presence at the function.

MLA’s of Bengaluru Rural District Constituencies, President, Vice-President, Members of  Zilla Panchayat and Talluk Panchayat, Sri Nagaraju Yadav, Hon’ble Chairman BMTC,  Sri.B.Govindaraju, Hon’ble Vice Chairman BMTC, were the Chief guests in the function. Dr. B.Basavaraju, Principal Secretary, Transport, Dr.Ekroop Caur, Managing Director, BMTC and Board Directors of BMTC and other respected invitees were also present on the occasion.

Modern Bus Terminal at Hosakote:

In order to provide modern facilities to Bengaluru Rural passengers BMTC plans to construct a modern Bus Terminal at Hosakote. The Bus Terminal will be constructed on an area spreading over 1 acre and 30 guntas at a cost of 20 crore rupees.

The land for the construction of this Bus Terminus has given free of cost by Public Work Department, Government of Karnataka. Government of Karnataka has sanctioned Rs.20 Crore grant (under SDP) for the construction of this Bus Terminus. BMTC is planning to complete the construction work within 18 months.

This Modern Bus Terminal will have the following Facilities

          BMTC is planning to provide transport facilities from this New Bus Terminus to different parts of Bengaluru including Kempegowda International Airport. BMTC is also planning to make this Bus Terminus as a major Transport Transit Hub in coming days.

Sub: Introduction of Volvo feeder services special daily pass of Rs. 80/-

         and Monthly pass of Rs.1500/- services operating from Swami

         Vivekananda Metro Station to ITPL-reg.

            Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation is introducing 23 Volvo Metro feeder services with 229 single trips from Swami Vivekananda Metro Station to ITPL with a frequency of every 5 minutes from 16.02.2017 and also operating 16 Ordinary Metro feeder schedules with 94 trips, for the benefit of travelling public in East west corridor of Namma Metro,

            Further to make BMTC commuter friendly and to overcome change problem BMTC has introduced special daily pass amounting Rs. 80/- (Rs.85/- including Rs. 5/- service tax) daily pass   and  monthly pass of  Rs. 1500/- (Rs.1590/- including Rs. 90/- service tax)   for the travelling public in the above said Volvo metro feeder services.

Facilities provided for the commuters possessing  Volvo Metro feeder daily pass of Rs. 80/- and Monthly pass of Rs. 1500/- :

  1. Pass holders are allowed to travel in Volvo and Ordinary Metro feeder services operated from Swami Vivekananda Metro Station to ITPL and also in the below mentioned routes only.
  • Swami Vivekananda / Baiyappanahalli Metro Station to Tinfactory – Hoodi – ITPL.
  • Swami Vivekananda / Baiyappanahalli Metro Station to Tinfactory – Marathahalli Bridge – Kundalahalli – ITPL.

       Note: 1) These pass holders are allowed to travel in the Metro feeder buses routed via     

                 S V Metro Station/Baiappanahalli to  ITPL  and  also in all other buses passing  

                  in the specified routes.

2) The said monthly and daily pass holders are allowed to board and alight the buses in other schedules also in the bus stops which are coming in the above routes.

  1. Facility of Rs. 1.00 lakh insurance has been provided for daily pass holder in case of death and complete incapacitation and upto Rs. 20000/- medical reimbursement incase of injuries. Also Rs. 5.00 lakh insurance has been provided for Monthly pass holder in case of death and complete incapacitation and upto Rs.50000/- medical reimbursement for injuries.
  • Rs. 80/- (Rs.85/- including Rs. 5/- service tax) Volvo Metro feeder daily pass will come into effect from 16.02.2017.
  • Rs. 1500/- (Rs.1590/- including Rs. 90/- service tax) Volvo Metro feeder Monthly pass will come into effect from 01.03.2017.

Sub: Operating extra buses for Aero India-2017 show reg.

                              

With reference to the above cited subject, to facilitate public visiting Aero India-2017 Show, to be held from 14.02.2017 to 18.02.2017 BMTC is operating special buses to Indian Air Force Centre located at Yelahanka, Bengaluru. As the flying display is at 10.00 am and 02.00 pm from 14.02.2017 to 18.02.2017, BMTC has taken necessary steps to operate buses from different parts of the city to the place of show from 08.00am onwards on these days.

These special services are operated mainly from Kempegowda Bus station, Maniksha Parade ground near M.G.Road, Hebbal Ring Road Junction, Banashankari, Kengeri and Central silk board areas. Depending on the traffic/public demand, buses will be operated from Yeshawanthapura Bus station, Jayanagar Bus station and other places.

Public are requested through your esteemed News Paper to utilize the parking facilities at Yeshwanthapura TTMC, Shanthinagar TTMC, Jayanagar TTMC, Koramangala TTMC and other TTMC’s to park their private vehicles and then to travel in BMTC buses for Aero India-2017 Show.            BMTC has been conferred with Volvo Sustainability Mobility Award 2016 for “Route planning for efficient mobility” initiative during the 8th Volvo Nobel Memorial Seminar held at New Delhi.

The awards were presented by Sri.Kamal Bali, Managing Director Volvo India Private Limited along with Mr. Dan Lerstrom, Senior Vice President, Global Manufacturing and Mr. Thomas Tunberg, Senior Vice President, Global Product Development. BMTC has been conferred with BW Smart Cities Conclave & Award 2016 award during the Summit in New Delhi. BMTC’s Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) initiative services were chosen amongst the top projects promoting sustainable mobility in India.

The awards were presented by Sri. Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Telecommunications, Govt.of India. Sri. BMTC has been conferred with Skoch Platinum award and “Order-of-Merit" for mobility award during the 46th Skoch Summit in New Delhi. Seven of BMTC’s initiatives including labour welfare measures, Intelligent Transport system and mobile application, women safety, bus service for the poor at a discounted rate and implementation of Trunk and feeder serviceswere chosen amongst the top 100 projects promoting sustainable mobility in India. Further 5 initiatives were selected for Platinum award.

The awards were presented by Sameer Kochar, Founder Trustee, SKOCH  and were received by the BMTC Chairman Shri. Nagaraju Yadav on the 16th December 2016 at Constitution Club of India, in New Delhi. The Skoch mobility and sustainable growth award 2016 is amongst India’s highest civilian honour since 2003.

At present BMTC is issuing different types of monthly passes for the benefit of travelling public.

Government of India has withdrawn the transaction of Rs. 500 and 1000 notes with effect from 08.11.2016 and introduced new notes for transaction. It was permitted to accept the withdrawn notes of Rs.500 and Rs.1000/- till 14.11.2016 from the commuters travelling in Government buses. At present, Government of Indian extended that provision till 24.11.2016.

In this background, while traveling in BMTC buses travelling commuters are facing lot of change problem. To overcome this problem and in the interest of travelling commuters BMTC is issuing special 10 day passes of Rs. 500/- temporarily which is valid from 15.11.2016 to 24.11.2016.

Further, public can obtain these passes by paying the existing currencies of different denominations and can also obtain by paying Rs.500 and Rs.1000/- notes which are withdrawn from GOI. Commuters are allowed to travel unlimited in all ordinary services except in Air Conditioned services.  Commuters can avail  these passes by providing photo copy of their IDs viz .,Aadhar card, Driving License, Voter ID, Pass Port, NREGA Card, PAN card or any Identity card issued by the Government and also commuters should possess any above mentioned ID cards while travelling.
